Met Office, in partnership with the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), has issued a red heat alert, this level of heat presents a significant risk to health, particularly for older adults, babies and young children, and people living with long-term health conditions.
Over the next few days temperatures are expected to reach up to 35 degrees Celsius, with the red alert in effect from today (Monday 22 June) to Thursday 25 June.
